Nice to meet you! I am looking forward to a fun year. My name is Mrs. Somodi and I will be your teacher for ELA/Social Studies this year. I have been teaching for 18 years, and this is my 17th year at MMMS. I strive to make school a welcoming, fun and calm place for each of my students. We will learn and grow together this year.

 

 

When I'm not at school, I enjoy exercising, reading, cooking, crafting, going to the beach and being outside! I also have a crazy obsession with flamingos, which I'm sure you'll see as soon as you enter our classroom! I am married and have two boys, Hunter (6) and Ryan (almost 11).

 

I'm certified to teach mindfulness to kids, so we will practice different ways of remaining calm and managing emotions this year.
