Principal's Message
Check out our Digital Magazine! The Lion's Pride
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students:
On behalf of the entire staff, I take great pride in welcoming you to Marlboro Memorial Middle School, home of the Monarchs. It is a pleasure to have you as members of the Memorial Family. Together, we will strive to foster a strong partnership between home and school. I look forward to building academic excellence and positive learning experiences for our students during the 2024-2025 school year. All school personnel will aspire to work cooperatively with you as we support our students in meeting their academic and community responsibilities. We anticipate great success for our students and value your partnership in this endeavor.
Until further notice, the access road that goes directly out to Lloyd Road will be closed. The main entrance on Nolan Road will now be the only way in and out of the campus. At arrival and dismissal, all traffic will drive around the back of the school to exit out onto Nolan Road. The front parking lot will be two-way traffic during the school day and for pickup from after-school activities. Driving around the back of the school will only be permitted at arrival and dismissal. Please be sure to follow these rules so traffic flow runs as smoothly as possible. We encourage all students to ride their assigned buses in order to avoid extensive traffic that may occur at the student drop-off location in front of the school. If students are driven to school, please be sure they remain in your car until 7:30am when they are permitted to enter school under the supervision of certified staff members. Any student being picked up from school during the day or at dismissal requires the parent to come into the office with a driver’s license to sign out the child. This safety procedure is in place if a child comes to school late or leaves school with an adult at any time. Please be sure anyone authorized to pick up your child is at least 18 years old, brings his or her driver’s license and is noted on your emergency contact list. Parents are always the first contact so emergency contact names must be someone other than the parent or legal guardian. Please be sure the person(s) you list are able to come to school within 30 minutes of being contacted to pick up a student. A copy of the driver’s license will be made in the office prior to dismissing any child to the care of your authorized or emergency contact.
The Marlboro Memorial Middle School staff anticipates a highly productive and enjoyable year for your child. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our Student Services Office or Main Office. We are available to assist you in any way possible. Best wishes for a successful school year!
Sincerely,
Mr. John Pacifico Principal
