Homework Policy
Homework Expectations
Students are to fill out their agenda pads daily with homework assignments and testing dates. Homework is an invaluable tool for reinforcing concepts learned throughout the day.
Homework grades are listed in Genesis as "Independent Practice"
According to District Policy:
“Independent practice” consists of assignments completed outside normal class hours and checked by teacher. Such assignments are scored as follows:
○ 2 points for completed assignment submitted on due date
○ 1 point for incomplete/late assignment; or, assignments for which directions were not followed correctly; or, assignments that demonstrate no sincere effort by student
○ 0 points for assignment not submitted on due date
Homework posted on this website is for my Periods 1 and 8 math classes only.
